If you think that updated graphics is the only thing new in Resident Evil 0, you are sorely misinformed. Capcom has announced that people who pre-order the game, are entitled to receive two special outfits for Rebecca and Billy.
While Rebecca gets a cheerleader costume, Billy gets an 80’s themed action-star inspired ensemble. If you’re a true=blue Capcom fan, you recognize both these outfits instantly from the old games. However, Xbox 360 gamers are in for a shocker, since Capcom has excluded the platform from their special offer.
While Rebecca’s costume first appeared in the Nintendo DS-based Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, Billy’s attire is a reference to the 1990 shooter,Mercs. Boththese costumes are truly rare and are available for the Resident Evil addicts who want to get immersed in fighting hordes of zombies as they head towards their primary mission.
Capcom revealed that Resident Evil Zero arrives in the United States of America on the 19th of January, 2016 while Europe gets the first taste of the franchise on January 22nd! 2016 just got so much more interesting.
Capcom has also introduced the Wesker Mode Players,where the players will have a chance to play the game from the villain’s point of view! Interesting, to say the least. Capcom also plans on introducing Resident Evil HD after Resident Evil 0, which will release as part of the Limited Edition package. Details regarding Resident Evil HD are scarce while the pricing is yet to be announced.
The Resident Evil franchise first arrived on the Nintedo GameCube back in 2002 and was later designed to be compatible with the Nintendo Wii. The title is now available across a wide range of platforms and is already awaiting the launch of two back-to-back installments. Talk of popularity!
The project title Resident Evil Zero would never have been successful, had it not been for the popularity received by Resident Evil HD! The game prompted the creators to move on with the storyline with advanced technical attributes and the result is well worth the wait!
Resident Evil 0 features a Partner ZappingSystem, which means that the players are allowed to swap between the two protagonists that are a part of the game in real time. However, playing as the antagonist, Albert Wesker, has its perks, since Weskerk possesses superhuman abilities, making him a difficult opponent to defeat.
Veteran gamers, who are aware of both sides of the storyline, should enjoy the new gameplay very much!
In other news, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is currently being filmed and numerous images have leaked out from the sets, giving us a fair idea of what’s happening on the sets. One of the images that have created a major buzz around the internet is the one where Milla Jovovichis shown with wrinkled skin and white hair.
The movie portrays the old age of Alice,and the image was shared on the social media platform Instagram. The Resident Evil cast includes Iain Glen, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts and Ruby Rose. Also present this time will be William Levy, Eoin Macken,Fraser James and Rola.
The storylines between the movie and game is miles apart. Hence, do not get confused between the two. Resident Evil: The Retribution picks up the plot right where Resident Evil: Retribution left off. Hence, the similarities can be seen.
The movie starts with Alice being betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C, which has put humanity on its last leg, since the two of them were supposedly the last survivors of the race, among the horde of the undead!
