Amazon recently revealed, “Customers may have received an e-mail from Amazon stating that this title is scheduled to release on [Jan. 2, 2017]. Please note that the placeholder release date for this game is [Dec. 31, 2016], and [Jan. 1, 2017] just happens to be the next shipping day after that placeholder date. You can be sure that Square Enix has a lot on its plate and this game will most definitely not be released in 2016. The title would arrive in September as revealed by the company in its Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event.

With the focus on “FFXV” and the “Final Fantasy VII” remakes, 2016 is probably the year of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3 will see light of day in 2017. Wario64, a well-known gamer further corroborated that the title will not arrive this year. Instead, it will be showcased in the D23 Expo, scheduled in 2017.

The BitBag reported that both Marvel and Lucas Arts will have worlds in Kingdom Hearts 3. According to the site, Marvel will introduce an Avengers world, featuring Sora, Donald and Goofy exploring New York City with the heroes.
