Pirates of The Caribbean 5: Release Date Preponed, Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow to Take a Back Seat to Javier Bardem’s Captain Salazar!

He added that his agent Tracey was not initially party to idea of the actor readily agreeing to do the film after initial rejection. However, the actor went forward with his decision and it can be safely stated that he was right to do so. Johnny Depp’s character of Captain Jack Sparrow is one of the most recognized and popular characters of modern times.

He further revealed that he had to spend a lot of time in Sauna to get the look of a rugged sailor who spends a considerable amount of time on the sea exposed to the various types weathers. According to him, he needed to perfect his “Sea legs”.

He stated that a pirate is generally associated with “rum, sodomy and the lash”. These are the things that the actor took into consideration while forming a general idea about his character.

May 26, 2017 was originally going to be the release date of another biggie from the house of Disney- Star Wars: Episode 8. However, the studio recently came forward with an announcement that stated that the release date of the movie is being pushed back to December 15, 2017.

Disney then scheduled Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales to release on that particular date, that is May 26, 2017.
