Xbox One gamers were waiting to get their hands on Pro Evolution Soccer last year but it turned out to be a disappointment as it only supported a 720p resolution compared to 1080p on PlayStation 4. Konami listened to fan feedback and acknowledged their earnest demands. As a result, this year, it’s a whole different story.
Adam Bhatti, the European PES Product Manager declared on Twitter that this year Pro Evolution Soccer will be will support a display resolution of 1080p on the Xbox One. Meanwhile, a lot of Real Madrid fans were worried whether the Bernabéu-based team would make it to PES this year.
Adam Bhatti once again tweeted that the exclusivity deal between EA Sports and Real Madrid won’t have any impact on PES 2016 and that all La Liga teams are still fully licensed. Pro Evolution Soccer will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC on 17th September.
Konami is stepping up their game with the leap to 1080p support for PES on Xbox consoles. Right now, it has been confirmed but rumors suggest that this game will manage 60fps. Although PES 2015 came with a lower resolution on the Xbox One, it supported twice the amount of local multiplayer gamers, compared to that of PS4. Customers who pre-order this title will receive a host of items and currency along with Neymar in myClub.
At the same time, a PlayStation Exclusive Anniversary Edition will be available in a steelbook case. Following the resolution-increase news on PES 2016, gamers are now wondering whether Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will also be available at 1080p resolution on the Xbox One.
However, even if it does, the results might not end up being the same as PES, as both are quite different games from two completely different genres. Only a few days, we received reports stating that Rise of the Tomb Raider has reached 1080p on Xbox One. From the looks of it, developers are getting more from the console than they ever hoped.
In other news, Neymar was delighted with the amazing likeness of between him and his playable character in the upcoming video game PES 2016. He shared his opinion about an amazing experience on his personal, official Twitter account and also revealed some images of himself from the game. Neymar was also depicted as the main man of Konami on the same day that he was made public as the cover of the Brazilian Edition of EA Sports FIFA 16.
Further information indicates that Pro Evolution Soccer will make use of a Fox Engine that permits quick reactions from the footballers. On top of that, the entire game has received a major overhaul due to the franchise celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Further notable points include the enhanced realism of the graphics, ability to import images to PS3 and PS4 in order to make better kits. The game will also include better camera angles.
