Patch 1.2 Brings New Aspects to Tom Clancy’s The Division, Introduces a Host of Bugs into The Game, Hotfix for Double UI Bug Released for PC and PlayStation 4!

Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online open world third-person shooting video game that has been developed by Ubisoft Massive. The game was released by Ubisoft for the platforms of PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 8 March 2016.

Since the launch of the game, Tom Clancy’s The Division has become one of the most successful games from the house of Ubisoft. However, with all its success, came a number of bugs and glitches too that riddled that game.

The developers of the game have been constantly trying to sort out the issues within the game by rolling out back to back updates.

It has been reported that Ubisoft has rolled out a brand new hotfix for the PlayStation 4 version of the game. The hotfix in question comes with a version number of 1.05 and it was released on May 31, Tuesday.

The hotfix comes with a significant size of 4.5GB. Apparently, a previous update had introduced some bugs into the game and one of them was an issue related to the UI.

Several fans were complaining that their game had a double UI which was causing problems while playing it. Due to this bug, gamers were forced to restart the game multiple times which is indeed quite frustrating.

However, they need not fret anymore as the latest hotfix will sort out the issue. Various reports state that the developers had released an update to fix this particular issue on the PC version of the game too.

The hotfix that was released for the PC version came with a size of 1.6GB. However, they are yet to roll out a fix for the Xbox One version of The Division.

As for the update which caused this bug to be incorporated into the game, it was released on May 24. The title that was given to this particular patch was Conflict. The patch 1.2 aka Conflict brought about several bugs and error fixes to the game apart from introducing some new elements to it.

Some additional missions, brand new gears, a new Incursion and a new Dark Zone feature was introduced to the game via the patch. The new Incursion that is included in the update has been titled Clear Sky. The Columbus Circle is the location of this Incursion.

In this Incursion, a team of four players will be tasked with going up against Rikers and defeating them. An anti-aircraft device has been taken over by these Rikers. Teamwork is of utmost necessity in the Clear Sky Incursion. Players will have to work in collaboration with one another to succeed in their task.

Rewards can only be won by players by playing the Incursion in the hard mode. A 214 gear set item and a 204 high-end weapon are two of the rewards that can be won by players in the Clear Sky Incursion. Apart from these, the Incursion will reward players with other things too.

A brand new feature called Hijack Extractions will also be introduced to the game via the update. This feature will reportedly make the rescue missions even difficult. The Hijack Extraction feature will enable opponents to cut the rope during an extraction.

Obviously, this will result in the failure of the extraction. Moreover, the players who cut the rope will be able to acquire the loot for themselves. Though it might seem quite rewarding at a glance, it should be noted that it comes with a catch. The moment a player cuts a rope to stop the extraction, he or she will be labelled as a Rogue character.
