Paramount Pictures Waiting For Michael Bay to Direct Transformers 5, Hasbro CEO Confirms Upcoming Fifth Installment, And More

Sadly, as of now, it seems like Shia is least interested to return to the franchise. Not only that, he had a lot of negative things to say regarding his work with Michael Bay. He even poked fun at Bumblebee, his main protector in the first two Transformers movies.

According to Shia LaBeouf, Bumblebee never really sounds quite real. Just the name alone can’t simply suggest that he is real. He further added that the even the director doesn’t believe it, so it’s a waste of time to be working on an alternative universe. Hence, by logic, Megan Fox shouldn’t be returning to the franchise.

However, if all goes as planned, fans of the popular Transformers franchise can witness the fifth movie in this series, sometime in 2017. According to a TFW2005 blog post, Hasbro recently held an earning conference call for the first quarter. During a Q&A session, Brian Goldner, Hasbro CEO confirmed the existence of the Transformers Cinematic Universe and a possible release for the fifth installment in this franchise.

  1. They can’t possibly think that Michael Bay is the only director on the planet capable of directing the films, surely there is someone else who can put a fresh new spin on the series, if they specialise with this director then the series has no hope, what if he has decided to do no more, what will they do then? and how do they think the spin-off films will meet success if they follow this specialisation? Whatever happened to possibilities like David Yates and Louis Letterier? Why not John Favreau or Justin Lin?
