Presently, Barrios extended his win streak to consecutive 35 wins and this has turned out to be quite lucrative for him. The first place prize at EVO was $11,500. Besides winning at EVO, he further set a record by being unbeatable during the course of the entire tournament. Super Smash Bros 4 is available on both the Wii U and the 3DS platforms with the same player roster but different kinds of game modes.

The 3DS version has the Smash Run mode while the Wii U version has Master and Crazy Orders Mode, along with Stage Creation Mode and Smash Tour Mode among others.  Meanwhile, Lucas from Mother 3, Ryu from Street Fighter, and Roy from Fire Emblem were added in various DLC stages in the form of three new playable characters.
