Renowned video game maker Nintendo added the latest Patch, 1.0.9 update, to Super Smash Bros. 4. This update was released for the gamers on the Wii U platform.  The Nintendo 3DS game console received Super Smash Bros. 4 back in September last year. Later in October, it was released in North America and all the other regions.

Following that month, it was released globally for the Wii U console. Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and Sora Ltd. is the developer of the fourth installment in the popular Super Smash Bros. franchise. According to Master Herald, the latest update introduced some tweaks and changes in Super Smash Bros. 4.

It also improved the game’s online multiplayer features as well. The report further mentioned that if you are downloading this new game for your Wii U, the installation of this new update is mandatory. The first update for this game was released back in November last year and since then; nine different updates have been launched by Nintendo.

The new Miiverse stage found in the Smash mode was added back in July 14 with the last Patch 1.0.8 update. According to popular reports and reviews, Super Smash Bros. 4 has been a pretty successful game so far and according to Game Revolution, it keeps evolving every time with new characters, items and features to choose from.

The world’s biggest long-running fighting-game tournament, known as EVO or Evolution Championship series was held from July 17 to 19 and it resulted in hordes of professional gamers are spectators descending upon Las Vegas.

Initially, there was Ultra Street Fighter 4 when the tournament launched last Friday, along with matches designated for “Super Smash Bros. 4” Wii U and “Super Smash Bros. There were also melee ‘Tekken 7” and “Persona 4 Ultima Ultramax” fights. On Saturday, there were tournaments scheduled for “Killer Instinct,” “Mortal Kombat X” and “Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.” There is a new feature that was introduced by Nintendo in the 2014 Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.

With the help of this feature, players are allowed to customize their preferred character by changing their special abilities and thereby, introducing a variation into the mix. EVO was the first tournament where this feature received recognition and Super Smash Bros. gamers considered it to be the where this feature would be celebrated or boohooed.

Gonzalo “ZeRo” Barrios is one of the best players of Super Smash Bros. in the competitive level and he expressed his concerns regarding this feature. However, that doesn’t mean he didn’t bag the title of this year’s EVO “Super Smash Bros (which he did!).

He is a professional eSports player from Chile and he asserted supremacy over his top rival and competitor Mr. R (Ramin Delshad). He used Zero Suit Samus while climbing up the success ladder and surprised everyone by choosing Diddy Kong in the end. EVO spectators are now aware of how this maligned hero can succeed with a combination of perfect banana tossing, amazing recoveries and lightning-fast reactions.

Gonzalo ‘Zero’ Barrios has won every Super Smash Tournament since 2014 and he was unstoppable once again in this year’s EVO tournament. At one time, he even had a bounty where anyone defeating him would receive $500.
