The Moto X Force is the latest offering from the house of Motorola which is now known as Moto in India. The company has been able to attract a lot of customers in the Indian market with a variety of smartphones that include the likes of Moto E 2nd Gen, Moto X Style, Droid Turbo, etc.
The Moto X Force is known as the Moto Droid Turbo 2 in the United States. The device is the company’s attempt to enter into the high-end smartphone section of the Indian market. The smartphone was recently launched in two variants in India. The two variants come with different amounts of storage capacities.
While the first one comes with 32GB of internal memory, the second one has an internal memory of 64GB. The 32GB variant comes with a price tag of INR 49,999 and the 64GB has a price tag of INR 53,999.
The standout feature of this device is its shatterproof display which can withstand even the mightiest of blows. Apparently it is the world’s first smartphone to feature a shatterproof display. This feature will especially be useful to those who have a have a habit of dropping their smartphones or damaging them in any other ways.
Several drop tests from considerable heights were performed on the device and the smartphone passed all the tests with flying colors. A sturdy build is becoming quite a common feature in high-end phones in recent times and Moto is not the one to lag behind in this aspect. The company sets a new benchmark in regard to withstanding damage with the latest Moto Force.
Aside from being shatterproof, the device packs some pretty impressive features too. It comes with a massive 5.4-inch quad HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 540 ppi. Under its hood it boasts the impressive Snapdragon 810 processor from the Qualcomm stable. The powerful processor is coupled with 3GB of RAM which makes multitasking a cake-walk on the device.
The display of the device is 2K compatible which means that users will be able to stream 2K content on it. The 2K feature ensures that the device has a great color reproduction and a bright and vibrant display. The high resolution does not affect the visibility of notifications on the device as the Active Display feature makes sure that the notifications are shown in the black and white screen.
Unlike most smartphones which features three layers, the display of Moto X Force has six layers which make it extra tough and durable. The top layer is the AMOLED display layer which is followed a scratch resistant layer which is replaceable by the user.
Then there is a transparent layer and two touch screen layers which ensures that the device does not lose the touch capability in case one of the touch screen layer breaks or gets damaged.
In the camera department, the device features a rear camera which is a whopping 21 megapixels. The rear camera module featured on the device is the Sony Exmor IMX230. This very same module is found in two other smartphones of the Moto X series, the Moto X Play, and the Moto X Style. The Moto X Force features a decent 5-megapixel camera on its front.
The device has an impressive Flash with dual LEDs which ensure impressive photography even under low light conditions. Some of the features that come packed with the camera of the device include Night Mode, Burst Mode, Exposure, Auto HDR and Drag to focus.
Design-wise, the phone comes with the trademark curved edges that are found in most Motorola phones. The device features a twin speaker setup which is placed just below its display. Its power and volume adjustment buttons are placed on the right side while the left side houses SIM card and microSD card slots along with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
