After accidentally killing evil masters, the Minions find themselves at a loss. Among them, Kevin, Stuart and Bob decide to set out on a journey and they eventually end up being recruited by the evil Scarlet Overkill. She is voiced by Sandra Bullock and has her eyes on Britain’s Crown Jewels.
At the film’s world premiere in London on Thursday, Bullock said that it is fantastic because she is not only justified but also misunderstood. The Academy Award winner said that she plays an 8 year old girl who loves throwing temper tantrums as she wants what she wants.
She admitted that it was difficult to maintain her energy levels when locked alone in a sound booth. According to her, “It’s hard because I like having other actors to play off of or other minions to play off of and I didn’t have that.”
