Michelle Obama Throws Birthday Bash For Barack Obama, Top Celebrities, Artists And Politicians Invited

Barack Obama recently shared his last birthday as the Commander-in-Chief, and First Lady Michelle Obama made sure that it was one that he would remember for a long time. Michelle Obama organized a massive party for the occasion of Barack Obama’s 55th birthday, which continued until the wee hours of Saturday morning.

The birthday party for Barack Obama saw some of the biggest names from the entertainment and sports industries coming in to celebrate at the White House.

Basketball legend Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie were present at the event, and they shared a photo with actor Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson. Johnson tweeted on the following morning stating that President Barack Obama surely knows how to party. Johnson added that he had so much fun last night that he could barely walk after waking up.

Also, present at Barack Obama’s party were George Lucas, Nick Jonas, and Al Rocker. Most of the guests took to social media to tell the world how much fun they had at the birthday party in the White House, and wished Obama well on turning 55 years old. The Democratic Party’s 2016 Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was also present for the birthday bash.

NY Daily News reported that White House correspondent April Ryan had spotted quite a lot of celebrities at Barack Obama’s birthday party, and she had shared some photos including one featuring Ellen DeGeneres and Fonzworth Bentley. Ryan went on to tell her Instagram followers that the party included performances by Usher and Stevie Wonder.

Pusha T, another of the guests at Barack Obama’s birthday party, has also come out to recount how amazing the whole experience was. This was the first time that Pusha T had been invited to an event in the White House and he was over the moon about it. He spoke out about his experience via SnapChat.

He said that he couldn’t believe that he was at Barack Obama’s birthday party at the White House in his Tom Ford suit, Hermes pocket square, and Gucci loafers.

Grant Hill, former NBA star also attended the birthday bash of President Barack Obama along with his wife, Tamia. Hill and his wife posed for a photo with Susan Rice, the national security advisor. Grant Hill shared the photo on Instagram and captioned it,  stating that he was posing with his favorite girl and favorite ambassador at the POTUS 55th birthday celebration.

First Lady Michelle Obama made sure that Barack Obama’s 55th birthday was an epic one, and managed to get huge musical stars like Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, and John Legend to appear the bash at White House. Kendrick Lamar also provided entertainment at the party.

Beyoncé and Jay Z made sure that they made it right on time for the event. Beyoncé was at her Formation World Tour, but she jetted back to Washington for the party after she completed the European leg of her tour in Barcelona.

Beyoncé is no stranger to the White House since she was present there in 2014 when she performed for First Lady Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday. The same event saw Michelle Obama being serenaded by John Legend. Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder were present at the 2014 event.

Beyoncé and Jay Z have a close relationship with the Obamas since they vocally supported his candidature for the Presidential run in 2008. Beyoncé was the one who performed “At Last” at the Neighborhood Ball after his first win and then sang the Star-Spangled Banner at the Ball to mark his second term as President of the United States.
