With the last season of Married at First Sight not doing very well, there are a lot of critics who are watching Season 3 very closely. Based on a social experiment that two individuals can fall in love with each other if they are matched well, the show has seen its own share of failures.
While two couples from Married at First Sight Season 1 are still together and very much in love, none of the couples from Season 2 made it after the show ended. The third season of Married at First Sight began with a lot of glitches and there is a lot of cynicism about the remaining season.
The third season of Married at First Sight started with Tres and Vanessa as the strongest couple. The viewers thought that couple started on a right foot in their first night together because it was evident that there was attraction. However, things turned to bad when Tres came clean about his past.
He confessed that he had been a playboy and never really gave in much effort in maintaining a relationship. He also tells Vanessa that this marriage is different and that he is completely committed to the relationship. It is, but obvious that Vanessa is going to be skeptical since her husband had been a playboy and old habits die hard.
Things get bad for the two in the episode titled Meeting in Laws. Vanessa refuses to believe that Tres isn’t a playboy anymore. She has always been very skeptical of men ever since her father abandoned them and her fear of the future seems to be spoiling whatever she feels for Tres.
David and Ashley are still stuck in the first stage of their relationship. They haven’t made any progress whatsoever.
They haven’t yet developed any intimacy or fondness for each other and Dr. Pepper Schwartz has given them a task to organize a small party in their home and entertain a few of their close friends so that they can break the ice. They have also been given the task of sitting down with each other every day for fifteen minutes and talk.
The coming episode of Married at First Sight Season 3 will show the results of these tasks. It is Ashley who admits that there is some level of compatibility between her and David.
Ashley had almost backed out from the wedding and this is an important step for them. The couple are also rumored to have kissed and fans are waiting to see what’s in store for the couple. There is another positive element in their relationship- Ashley seemed to have gotten along very well with David’s mother.
The third couple, Sam and Neil are still struggling. Sam had a huge issue coming to terms with the fact that Neil isn’t a man who claims his manhood.
She is more comfortable with men who takes the lead and Neil is completely the opposite. The two have also fought with each other because Sam had questioned Neil’s manhood and that had hurt his ego.
The next issue that the couple now has to deal with is that Neil is having trouble being himself around the cameras. He has himself confessed to this and Sam has also confessed that she is worried that her husband isn’t himself around the camera.
Neil and Sam already have communication problems. According to Movie News Guide, Neil said that he is another a lot of pressure in the show and is having trouble communicating properly with the cameras around.
