In the finale, we saw that she witnesses the suicide of one of the big bosses of the company. However, she is finally convinced by the company’s head to attend a press conference which has been scheduled, later that day.
Angela appeared pretty cold when she decided to purchase a new pair of shoes after her old ones were splattered with blood. The questions remain as to whether she will become colder in Season 2 and if she and Elliot will become enemies.
In other news, showrunner Sam Esmail has declared that the next 10 episodes of season 2 will be directed by him. He further revealed that the second season will be darker than the first. Elliot’s long-deceased father, Christian Slater, has been confirmed to return as Mr. Robot/ Edward Anderson.
At the same time, in the second season, fans will witness a lot of BD Wong. Esmail told Vulture that he would be a fool not to bring him back after his excellent performance in the first season.
While keeping all spoilers undisclosed, he tantalizingly revealed, “We have writers in the room tonight’’. Sam Esmail teased about his Season 2 plans in an earlier interview, declaring, “We’re about to watch Rome burn. That’s the world Elliot’s going to enter next season.”
