The LG G5 has a 5.3inch QHD display which comes with the always-on display technology. It allows you to check time, notifications, and battery status along with other pieces of information. Under the hood, the LG G5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
In the camera department, the LG G5 has a 16megapixel and 8 megapixel rear camera and the former features a 78 degree lens. The other has a 135 degree wide angle lens. According to LG, the wide angle makes it easier for the users to grab more landscape, taller buildings or larger groups and there is no need to position oneself further from the subject.
There is an 8 megapixel camera on the front. The G5 has other features like a 2800mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0. In terms of connectivity, the LG G5 has 4G LTE, USB Type-C port compatible with USB 3.0 standard, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Meanwhile, one accessory designed for the LG G5’s slot will work on other devices as well. The 32-bit DAC being offered by LG in collaboration with B&O will provide significantly improved audio output and quality. However, keep in mind that you need to have a great pair of earphones along with some high quality audio files.
