Ben Affleck Receives ‘Best Dad Moment’ Award from Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner, Affleck Is Not Ready To Commit To A Solo Batman Movie!

Ben Affleck received points for dressing up as Batman for his and Jennifer Garner’s son Samuel’s fourth birthday. Jennifer, the Miracles from Heaven actress who split up with Affleck in June, said that her ex-husband has pulled off the best dad moment in history.

Garner further explained that their son had asked for a superhero party for his 27th February birthday and they more than obliged to provide him one. Garner, now aged 43 revealed that they had dressed up and said, “I dressed up as a ninja, and Ben dressed up as Batman for Sam, which was the best dad moment in history. It was pretty sweet.”

Ben and Jennifer announced their split a day after their 10-year anniversary but they have remained amicable for their three kids, Seraphina, 7, Violet, 10 and Samuel, 4. During a no-holds-barred Vanity Fair interview, Garner decided to break her silence regarding the divorce. She said, “I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him,”

“And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

It was also exclusively revealed by US Weekly that the 43-year old Affleck allegedly had a romance with their former nanny and Garner candidly discussed this in her Vanity Fair cover story. She said, “Let me just tell you something.

We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” she told the magazine. “She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives. … I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal.'” In other news, when Batman v Superman releases on theaters this year, it will begin a whole new range of DC superhero movies.

One of the pictures that have already been planned down the line is a standalone movie for Batman featuring Ben Affleck. That is probably something that the Warner Bros. would like to see happen but right now, there is no guarantee about Ben Affleck, especially because of reports suggesting that he might be busy with another movie.

It is standard practice to sign for multiple films when it comes to starring in a superhero franchise but Ben Affleck was not interested in doing something like that. He hasn’t agreed to actually play a Batman movie because he likes to give time to each movie he makes and further provide attention to his work.

He revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he is currently involved in a project that is based on another novel by Gone Girl author Dennis Lehane.

He said, “It’s in development, and right now I’m really focused on finishing Live by Night. That’s where my focus is, and I tend to be a one movie at a time guy. So, when I’m finished with this movie, I’ll then focus on my next movie and figure out what that will be.”
