LG has confirmed on its Facebook page that the device will have a vegetable-tanned leather cover. The rumors suggest that the leather cover will have six different color variants- sand, red, light blue, yellow, brown and black. The company will also launch this device with a plastic look. According to leaks from the official LG micro-site, the device will have dimensions of 75.3 x 149.1 x 8.9 mm. LG latest custom mobile software known as the UX 4.0 interface will debut on the LG G4. It is expected to be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The G4 will be available for purchase from 31st May in Korea, followed by other markets.
LG Electronics will choose 4000 different consumers in 15 countries and test-drive the new LG G4, before its official launch worldwide. The participants of this program will be selected based on their entry responses. Once they are chosen, they will be provided a G4 for up to 30 days, in order to experience its features and unique design.
When it comes to the price, the device will have a premium price tag, considering the flagship nature of this device. It is expected to be priced around the 500 quid mark.
