Leaked Photos of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Point Out Key Design Details, Powered by 823 Snapdragon Chipset, Might Have An Iris Scanner, And More

It should be noted that the key word here is showcased and not released since Samsung has been ready with the prototype of bendable phones for over 10 years now, but it has not been able to create them at a reasonable cost. Since the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to release around August and there are quite a few events where it can showcase the bendable phones.

It looks like Samsung has recently started dealing with iris scanners and GSMArena is of the opinion that it is being used for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. There has already been rumors that the new phablet from Samsung might come with the iris scanner, but then this still hasn’t been confirmed. However, now with the newly launched Galaxy Beta program there is an option of setting the screen that will prompt the use of iris.

The smartphones and phablets that are being used these days contain every bit of important data and hence it is very important to make sure that they are safe. The password protection that the phones come with aren’t completely full proof and hence there is a need for biometric technology to make the smart gadgets, safer.

Biometric technology with its retina scanners are highly protective. It was once said that Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with a retina scanner, but since that didn’t happen, it is believed that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to have the iris scanner.
