Latest Rumors and Updates Regarding GTA 6, Might Feature Shatta Wale’s KAKAI Song, Likely to Come with Full VR Support!

The rumor mill has been extremely busy when it comes to the matter of Rockstar’s next offering in the GTA video games lineup- GTA 6. GTA 6 has been the talk of the town for quite some time now.

Speculations regarding the release of the game is hot in the market at the current moment. The latest batch of rumors suggest that gamers might not be able to get their hands on the game before 2020.

Till now, the map that was incorporated into GTA 5 was the biggest one to ever feature in a GTA game. However, if the latest rumors are to be believed, the developers are trying to build an even bigger map for GTA 6. Thus, it is being assumed that it will take quite some time for the developers to develop the game.

It was also reported that Rockstar might take all the maps of all the previous GTA games and combine them to form one massive map for GTA 6. This will definitely be a good thing since it will enable players to explore more number of new locations which will make sure that they don’t get bored by the game too soon.

Leslie Benzies, the former president of Rockstar North, the developing company of GTA games had previously stated- “We’ve got about 45 years’ worth of ideas we want to do. We’ll pick the right ones.”

However, just in the recent past, Benzies left Rockstar North. Prior to his resignation, he had taken an extended leave from the company. Needless to say, his departure came as a blow to the company and fans feared whether it will have any effect on the development process of the game.

Benzies has been a significant contributor to the GTA franchise since the first game and thus the fears of fans are quite understandable. However, after the announcement of his resignation, Rockstar came forward with another announcement which stated that his departure will not be able to affect the company or any of its projects.

Various reports suggest that the delay in release of GTA 6 could be due to the fact that the developers are planning to make the game VR compatible. The PlayStation VR peripheral will become a household name in a few years to come by and thus it is likely that Rockstar will release GTA 6 with full support for virtual reality.

Reports also claimed that GTA 6 might come with the support for the next gen consoles from the house of Sony and Microsoft. The current-gen consoles of Sony and Microsoft were released back in 2013 and it has been seen in the past that these companies roll out new consoles every seven years.

Thus the next set of consoles are due in 2020 and Rockstar might wait till they are released before starting to work on GTA 6. This will enable them to acquire the specifics of the next-gen consoles and build the game accordingly. If indeed, Rockstar decides to do so, the release date of the game might be further pushed back to 2022.

However, there has been no confirmation behind this matter from any official sources as of yet.

A renowned website reports that GTA 6 might feature Shatta Wale’s KAKAI in it. For the uninitiated, KAKAI is an immensely popular song among the African-American communities in the United States. The song is well recognized in other parts of the world too.

Apparently, the executive members of Rockstar have been quite impressed by the catchy song and they are reportedly planning to include the same in the upcoming game. Players will be able to enjoy the song while on-board a vehicle in the game.
