Kung Fu Panda 3: Po Finds His Panda Family, DreamWorks Animation Hoping for a Success, And More

Netflix has given DreamWorks Animation a new lease of life. The shares of the movie and television producer climbed up to 44%. There are reports suggesting that Kung-Fu Panda 3 is going to be the film that will transform the fate of the production house.

Kung Fu Panda 3 is going to feature three Panda bear cubs from China. Meng Meng, Ku Ku and Shuai Shuai are the only three Panda triplets in the world and they will be a part of the upcoming film announced by Oriental Dreamworks. The characters from the film will be based on the three cubs and will have their personalities.

The Panda triplets were born at the Chimelong park in Guangzhou and they made news because they were the first surviving Panda triplets. The Pandas are one of the most endangered animals in the world and they have a very low birth rate. China has a program where they breed these animals in captivity and at present their total count in 300.

Daily Mail has reported that with the growth in the Chinese film industry, the producers have decided to incorporate more and more films with elements from the Chinese culture so that more movie goers visit the theatre to watch the film that are being shown.

Oriental Dreamworks’ CEO Fang Gan said that the main reason for them to incorporate elements from the Chinese culture because with the growth in the industry, the world audience will be able to get an idea about China.

Reports suggest that Kung fu Panda 3 is set to repeat the huge success that Kung Fu Panda 2 was. According to The Street, Kung Fu Panda 2 saw a movie ticket sale of over $666 million dollars. DreamWorks Animation had hit a rough patch in the recent past when Jeffrey Katzeenberg, the CEO of the company reworked and restructured the whole company he had once founded with Steven Spielberg.

Analyst Ryan Fiftal said that the business of making films is a very tricky venture, but DreamWork Animation did try to rework and change the different aspects that they felt wasn’t going well. They changed the heads of different departments and have made other necessary changes that will help them come back to the forefront in the movie business again.

The new trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3 has been released and it is the one where Po wishes his fans a very happy Thanksgiving. He says that he will be celebrating Thanksgiving this year with Mr. Ping.

Mr. Ping, Po’s adoptive father, specializes in noodles, but Po plans on convincing Mr. Ping to make a turkey out of noodles. Po loves eating and he says that Thanksgiving is all about eating and he asks the viewers what to call the noodle turkey- will it be called toodles or nurkey?

Kung Fu Panda 3 will see Po finding his biological father and when he reaches the village mountain where the other Pandas stay he is surprised as to how they all look so similar to him. He is astonished and asks the other Pandas he encounters that they are just like him, but smaller, or with a hat or fatter.

Kung Fu Panda 3 will deal with another adventure undertaken by Po and this time the major chunk of the film will be based in the secret Panda village where Po goes with his biological father. Po had for so long believed that his real father was Mr. Ping, until he realized that he was an orphan in Kung Fu Panda 2.
