Kingdom Hearts 3: Release Date, Rumors and the Awesome Disney Worlds That Need To Be In It, More Details

Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura isn’t ready to share any information regarding the release of the third part. However, he was kind enough to divulge a good part of news and details regarding the game, during a couple of interviews with Dengeki PlayStation and Famitsu.

From the looks of it, Square Enix might announce a release date soon enough. According to the latest news from IGN, the release date information of Kingdom Hearts 3 will be disclosed only to insiders. The game has a major legacy and people are expecting wonders from the third part.

The first game in this franchise was released around 13 years ago in 2002 on the PlayStation 2 and it’s been ten years since the release of Kingdom Hearts 2 in 2005. As a result, it’s been a really long gap and games are hoping the developers have some pretty exciting things in store.

Keep in mind that even though the upcoming game has a 3 beside its name, it is not even close to being the third installment in this franchise. The upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 should be considered the 12th game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise and 10 if you don’t wish to take the latest remix/remasters into account.

The franchise tied up with Disney characters ever since its release 13 years ago. This gave rise to an interdeveloped, overlapping storyline which allows both casual and hardcore games to enjoy and have fun.

The latest reports indicate that planning and development of Kingdom Hearts 3 is going as scheduled a and the latest details will be revealed during the D23 Wzpo, which will take place on 3rd November in Japan, according to Gematsu. Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature smooth/seamless stages and include ‘attraction flow’ attacks.

With the help of a free run layout, characters like Sora will be able to sync and develop with acrobatic movements like running up a wall.  According to Playstationlifestyle.net, even though Tetsuya Nomura didn’t reveal much about the player movements, reports suggest that Sora will be more of a gymnast, compared to other games in this franchise.

Nomura teased some details like besides Olympus; all the other worlds in Kingdom Hearts 3 will be new additions to the series. Nomura also commented on the storyline and declared that the Xehanort story will be completed in Kingdom Hearts 3 but the franchise will continue even after the final conclusion.
