There hasn’t been any official statement about the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3 yet, but the news is that the announcement will be made at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, this year.

VC Post has speculated that the D23 Expo, which is held in August, will see the official trailer of the popular game being released. The main announcements pertaining to Kingdom Hearts 3 will take place at the E3 Expo in June.

Tetsuya Nomura, the game developer had said in an interview to Design and Trend that Square Enix will announce latest news and details about the game soon. He said that the game developing company has a lot of interesting things planned out. He said that the work on Kingdom Hearts 3 is moving forward smoothly and new announcements will be coming soon.

There is an interesting scoop for those who want to have their favourite games in their smart-phones so that they can play it on the move. Nomura has said that Sqaure Enix is planning to launch the smart-phone specific version of the game, shortly.

Yosuke Matsuda, the President of Square Enix has another surprise for the fans of Kingdom of Hearts. Square Enix already has popular gaming titles like Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Dragon Quest Heroes.

Matsuda went on to say that in 2015, the game developers are looking at launching several other new titles. They have already announced Final Fantasy XV and it looks like that the big surprise might be the announcement of the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3.

The anticipation about the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3 is accompanied by the speculation of the different characters that will be introduced in the game. There are rumours that the RPG that has a Disney theme might have tie-ups with Star Wars and Marvel and include characters from them.
