The particular interview also hints at the roots of animosity between the companies like Kord Industries, LexCorp and Wayne Enterprises and provides details on Luthor’s military contracts as well.
Luthor said that his involvement in the military is necessary. According to him, people live in a dangerous time in all of human history and looking at statistics, it is clear that another world-changing crisis is slow making its way towards us with the speed of a bullet.
Luthor says, “We have to be ready to defend ourselves. No civilization was ever conquered by having a strong military… [But] It’s not a competition.
Besides, I can’t hold a candle to those guys in the debauched billionaire playboy department!”From the interview, it is pretty clear that CEO wishes to protect Earth from Superman, who is out beneficent savior but Luthor probably begs to differ.
He wants to stop him in any way he can, probably with Kryptonite, considering his world-famous collection of meteorite crystals. Luthor admits that it is all about safety and this is a product that has been designed to protect everyone from threats that they don’t even know yet.
