Recently Irina Shayk revealed that she used to earn less than a dollar a day. This 29-year old Russian Supermodel has found international success on the runway and recently found love with Hollywood Actor Bradley Cooper.
She revealed that during her childhood, her family was very poor and there were times when they didn’t have enough to eat. Irina said that she used to pick potatoes and tomatoes because that was the way to make money in her little town.
She further said that during the summer, she got paid 20 dollars for 30 days’ work, painting the local hospital. She still works with the hospital today and according to her it is quite gratifying to give back what they gave to her.
She further declared than things weren’t easy right away, when she started modeling. She told HELLO! Magazine, during her days as a young model, there was a day in Paris when she was just starting out and had nothing to eat.
It became a turning point for her as she didn’t give up. She knew that she couldn’t return home without achieving anything and this made her work even harder. Irina Shayk dated Football Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for five years and she thanks her family and simple beginnings for giving her the drive to succeed. She further revealed that her father died when she was 14 and she learned how to be a strong woman from her grandmother and mother and the former was her absolute hero.
In the meantime, recent reports indicate that Irina Shayk, Cristiano Ronaldo’s ex-girlfriend, is among a number of lovers in the life of outgoing FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, as suggested by reports in Spain. El Mundo, a Spanish newspaper published a piece titled, “All the women in Blatter’s life”. It describes the controversial 79-year old Swiss as a womanizer.
The Spanish newspaper reveals that Sepp has been married three times and he was dating Irina Shayk before meeting his present girlfriend, Linda Barras, who is 28 years younger to him, mother of two with her former husband. This brings into mind the famous speech that was made by Sepp Blatter at Oxford University in 2003. That is where Sepp Blatter mocked Cristiano Ronaldo and declared Lionel Messi to be his favorite.
