HTC One X9: The Tech-Specs at A Glance, Coming to Selected EMEA Markets Soon!

Taiwanese company HTC unveiled the HTC One X9 back in December but unfortunately, the device is currently only available in the Chinese markets. However, LlabTooFeR, a HTC leakster recently claimed that the device is due to hit selected EMEA markets soon.

He also added that the model that will be shipped to the selected EMEA markets will be a dual-sim variant of the device. The HTC One X9 is currently being sold at a price of $370 in Chinese markets. It is likely that the device will come with a different price tag in different markets when it is finally made available outside China

The device will run on the latest offering from Google in the Android OS field- Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow combined with HTC’s own Sense 7.0UI. It will come with the measurements of 153.9 x 75.9 x 8 mm and will weigh in at 170g.

Under the hood, it will boast a 64 bit MediaTekHelio MT6795T X10 chipset with a 2.2 GHz Octa-core processor accompanied with 3GB of RAM. The built-in PowerVR G6200 GPU will handle the graphics department in the device.

The device will sport a 5.5-inch capacitive screen which will have a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 401 ppi. The screen will come with the support for full HD resolution and will feature the multi touch technology. It will have an extra layer of protection with Corning Gorilla Glass.

When it comes to the memory department, the device boasts an impressive 32GB of in-built memory that will provide users with enough space to load up numerous apps and other data. The storage space of the device can be extendedup to 200Gb using its external microSD card slot.

HTC One X9 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an autofocus of 27 mm. It comes with a number of features that include Geo Tagging, Optical Image Stabilization, touch focus, panorama, face detection and HDR.

It is supported by dual LED dual tone flash that makes sure that the camera churns out high quality images even under low light conditions. It can record videos at 2160p at 30 frames per second.

The secondary camera or the selfie-snapper is a 5-megapixel one which has the capability to capture decent images and record videos at 1080p at 30 frames per second.

The device is loaded with HTC’s Boom Sound Speakers which ensures that the device churns out high quality audio.

It packs a powerful 3000mAh battery that keeps it up and running throughout the day. Apart from these, the device contains the standard set of connectivity features that include- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with AGPS, GLONGLASS and BDS along with a micro USB 2.0 port for the purpose of charging and data transfer. It has a LTE chip built in it which makes it 4G compatible.

Its powerful battery will reportedly provide 15 hours of 3G phone calls, 40 Hours of music and 10 hours of HD video. The sensors to be included in the device include an accelerometer, a gyro, a compass and a proximity sensor.

However, the fingerprint reader which is fast becoming a regular feature in high-end smartphones will be missing from the device.

There are no specific details available as of yet as to when this device will become available outside the Chinese markets but if the claims of LlabTooFeR are to be believed, consumers outside of China will not have to wait for long to get their hands on the HTC One X9.
