Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Scheduled to Commence Production in 2016, And Details

Gunn has sat down with the Marvel Studio reps, and they have decided on incorporating some surprising twist and turns for Guardians of the Galaxy. The script supposedly portrays Yondu, played by Michael Rooker. He is back this time to seek revenge from Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt. Star-Lord had played a mean trick on him at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy and wanted payback. Karen Gillian will reprise her role of Nebula. There are rumors that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will feature Rom: Space Knight, but this information wasn’t confirmed by either James Gunn or Marvel.

While Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper return to lending their voices to Groot and the Rocket Raccoon, respectively, Ronan, the evil alter ego of Lee Pace will not be coming back for the Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

James Gunn said that he was a very bad character, and they decided to kill him off. This news has come as a surprise to the fans of the comic book, but Gunn was quick to add that the film plot will not be based completely on the comics.

With deviations being made, and characters being added and removed, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will surely be a surprising and fun-filled watch.
