He stated that his idea regarding the storyline for the sequel was initially touted as a bit risky by the scriptwriters. However, they decided to go forward with it anyway.
Actress Karen Gillan who played Nebula in the first film will reprise her role once again for the upcoming movie. The actress was recently asked to share a few details about her character. In reply to that the actress stated that fans will be able to see a human side of Nebula in the upcoming movie. She added that the character was cybernetically enhanced.
The film will reportedly reveal a lot more about the background story of Nebula. Her relationship with her sister Gamora will also be explored in Guardians 2.
Gillan had to shave her head for playing the role in the first movie and thus fans were speculating whether she would do it again for the upcoming movie too. Gillan herself has given confirmation to the fact that she will once again be losing all the hair on her head for playing the role.
The movie is expected to hit the big screen on May 5, 2017.
