GTA 6 is expected to be launched between 2016 to 2018 and reports indicate that it will be made available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The rumors also suggest that when it finally comes out, it might even release on other brand new consoles. Fans of the long running GTA franchise already believe that the upcoming installment will be even better, quirkier and fresher than the last installment.
Apparently, not just MoviePilot fans but a report from Ecumencial news also adds that GTA 6 will be released for mobile devices after a worldwide console release. Right now, gamers are mainly absorbed with thoughts regarding the possible location setting of this title. According to MoviePilot, many fans are asking whether the game will be set in a different country or just stay limited to America like always.
Rumors indicate that the game will be set in London but there are exotic reports about a Middle Eastern setting and ‘fighting terrorists’ scenarios. Other reports indicate that GTA 6 will take place in Continental United States, featuring locations like Oregon or Texas. Rockstar could even map the entire United States of America for GTA 6, which will end up being twice the size of GTA 5, according to Ecumenical News.
In the meantime, exciting rumors indicate that GTA 6 will feature Ryan Gosling taking on a protagonist role. Incidentally, the actor appears on the movie, ‘Drive’, which seems to have been inspired by Rockstar’s ‘Grand Theft Auto: Vice City’. Meanwhile, IGN recently learned that Leslie Benzies, Rockstar Games president wants to incorporate a lot of new ideas into GTA 6. According to Benzies, they’ve got 45 years’ worth of ideas stored up and they’re just brainstorming new ideas they can incorporate.
Considering the process of development, Rockstar Games president declared that it all starts with where the game is going to be set. According to him, a choice of the location will define the missions to be featured in the installment. The protagonist won’t be doing the same thing in LA that he has been doing in Miami or New York. The story and the map work together and the story indicate a basic flow of how the missions are going to work.
