In the meantime, a new gameplay video of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for PC has surfaced online. This video has been narrated by creative-director Marc-Alexis Cote and published by Nvidia. The game showcases the various PC-specific features of the game.
The game’s version of 1868 London looks as brilliant as it can be, with things like horizon-based ambient occlusion, percentage-closer soft shadows and temporal anti-aliasing. There is a comparison slider used in the video, which shows the difference with all these features turned on and off. You can take a look at the 3-minute video and it is easy to assume that the video was taken on a pretty high-end PC.
On a more exciting note, Nvidia has announced that with the purchase of a select Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980, or 970, or any 970M, you can get a free copy of Syndicate on PC. Meanwhile, Ubisoft Exec Alain Martinez revealed that during their first week, sales of this game was negatively impacted by its glitchy predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Unity.
