The original Final Fantasy game could be purchased by fans on the Play Station store. The game brings a free static custom theme which features Cloud and a view of the city of Midgar which will be a part of the remake version of the game.
A list of trophies that could be earned in the course of the game also comes with the download.
In other news, it was recently reported that the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife is set to make an appearance in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros 4. A trailer launched at the broadcast of Nintendo Direct revealed Cloud Strife as a brand new playable character that will be added to the game through a DLC.
The video also showed off some of the moves and skills that Cloud will be able to use in the game which includes the Odin Summon and limit breaks.
Cloud Strife will be the first ever Final Fantasy character that is going to be a part of the Super Smash Bros roster. The city of Midgar was also shown in the trailer which meant that there is a possibility that a City of Midgar stage is also headed towards Super Smash Bros fans via the update.
