Missy Robertson asked them to not take the negative reviews and to not get discouraged. The Robertsons have always come out to portray that they make a conscious effort to not let their fame take a hold on their lives because it is a part of the greater plan that God has.

Sadie said in an interview that if she thought that her followers and fans were her own, then she might be badly affected by her fame. Sadie considers her fans and followers to be a part of the greater plan that God has and this helps her stay grounded and not let her fame and popularity get to her head.

The Angels in Adoption honors those who have adopted children and who have come forward to make a change in their lives. Willie and Korie Robertson from Duck Dynasty are great supporters of the cause, and they have two adopted children.

The couple was honored at the 2013 event and this time round, they supported others that came forward to be a part of the program. Willie Robertson even hosted the event at Washington D.C.
