Netflix had recently organized a two-day event in Paris where they gave the fans the opportunity to interact with the casts of Daredevil along with the other popular shows like House of Cards. The fans were hopeful that since the network was organizing an interactive session with the casts of the show, they would be bringing the series back for the third season, but they were disappointed to find out that Charlie Cox didn’t have any idea about the fate of Daredevil Season 3.
While Charlie Cox had no idea if Matt Murdock is going to be back in Daredevil Season 3, he did throw light on the new series, The Defenders, which will bring in Daredevil, Iron Fist (Finn Jones), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) to fight crimes together. When the fans heard about the new series, The Defenders, they realized that Netflix was purposely denying the fans Daredevil Season 3 so that they focus on the new series.
Netflix is completely silent about Daredevil Season 3 but is sharing inside scoop on The Defenders. They recently informed the fans that the upcoming mini-series will deal with Mephisto as the main villain.
They went on to say that while some fans of Marvel will not agree with the choice of the super villain, the viewers are going to be in for a treat since they will have Iron Fist coming it to lend the supernatural element to the series.
