In 2012, Beats Electronics started manufacturing headphones that were designed by Monster, which has been termed as a big corporate betrayal by the CEO of Monster Noel Lee. Lee said that Dre and Jimmy Iovine played a very dirty game and it was completely unethical.
Monster sued Beats after it was acquired by Apple for over $3.2 billion. Apple has since then taken away Monster’s license to make exclusive Apple accessories. Endgadget has reported that ROC will be available on eBay after it is launched and will also be found in retail stores.
