Lydia has always had a very dark storyline and fans are hoping that with Stiles coming into her life, things will start looking up for her and she will get to enjoy a few joys. Lydia has had a tragic life and no matter how hard she tries to bring in normalcy, something ends up going wrong.
Season 5 had hinted at the fact that things will tend to become normal for Lydia since the final scene showed her walking to school along with Malia (Shelley Hennig). Lydia and Malia are becoming good friends, but the latter is Stile’s ex-girlfriend and she might pose a problem for the Lydia and Stiles’ union.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Jeff Davis had spoken about the upcoming season of Teen Wolf focusing on Lydia and Stiles. He said that Malia and Lydia will start to become good friends, which will make things uncomfortable for Stiles.
Stiles doesn’t just have lingering feelings for Lydia, they are very genuine. Davis has asked fans to tune in to the first episode of Teen Wolf Season 6 since there’s going to be something big happening with Lydia and Stiles in it.
Teen Wolf Season 6 is going to premiere on 26th September and will have twenty episodes in total, with ten episodes aired in the first half of the series and ten in the midseason.

Tyler Hoechlin left Teen Wolf at the end of season 4 and is very unlikely to return. Ian Bohen (Peter Hale) has not been confirmed for season six, neither has Cody Christian.
