The expansion pack is not available for players who are playing the game on outdated consoles of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The expansion pack will add a brand new Zombies chapter to the game which has been titled Der Eisendrache. A total of four DLCs are planned for the game. A new storyline will unfold gradually over the course of these four DLCs. Der Eisendrache is going to be the first chapter in that storyline.
The Awakening DLC will also incorporate four new Mega Gobblegum to the Zombies mode of the game. These are- Crawl Space, Fatal Contraption, Undead Man Walking and Head Drama.
All nearby zombies will be transformed into crawlers by Crawl Space. A death Machine power up will be spawned by Fatal Contraption. The movement speed of all zombies will be slowed down by Undead Man Walking. All bullet damage against zombies will be counted as head damage by Head Damage.
Apart from these, the expansion pack will introduce four brand new multiplayer maps to the game which are- Gauntlet, Rise, Splash and Skyjacked.
The expansion pack will also bring forth certain bugs and error fixes to the game along with the new additions.
