Atlus Announces the Japanese Release Date of Persona 5, New Trailer Promises an Exciting Gameplay!

Given the kind of popularity the game enjoys, Atlus has decided to go ahead and create an anime out of the game. The anime is going to be called Persona 5 The Animation: The Day Breakers.

The developers have been very hush hush about the anime, but it has been revealed that the anime is going to be the prologue for the story on which Persona 5 has been based. The anime will start with the story and then go on to deal with a particular mission. There is no official confirmation on whether the same mission will be part of the gameplay as well.

According to Silicon Era, the TV anime based on Persona 5 is going to be directed by Katsura Hashino. The story that will be dealt with in the anime is going to be an original and will directly link to the game in a sub episode. The original characters from the game are going to be a part of the anime.

The fans will be able to see the anime right before the release of Persona 5. The anime is clearly being made to promote the game and there is still no word on whether it is restricted to Japan or if it can be viewed in other parts of the world as well.
