Asus Zenfone 2: Technical Specifications Revisited, Entire Lineup of New Variants Available, And More Information

The ASUS Zenfone 2 set the global smartphone industry abuzz when it was launched especially because of its 4GB RAM, which gives the phone enough power to tackle any app thrown its way. It is powerful and fast and handles multitasking effortlessly.

ASUS released another variant of the Zenfone 2 in the Indian market on 15th September. This one is called the ASUS Zenfone Selfie.

The Zenfone Selfie has similar looks to that of the Zenfone 2. It runs on a 64 bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It is divided into a 1.7 GHz quad-core and a 1 GHz quad-core. The device comes with 3 GB of RAM along with Adreno 405 GPU.

The Zenfone Selfie comes with 5.5 inch screen with 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution. The screen is crisp and sharp with excellent viewing angles and color reproduction. It is completely legible even under direct sunlight.

The device features a 13 megapixel rear camera with the front camera being of 5 megapixels. The front camera is a high point of the device which comes with an f/20 aperture along with a dual-color Real Tone flash and 28 mm focal length. A laser autofocus module is also featured on the device’s rear camera.

One downside of the device– its use of a hybrid sim slot which means that one of the sim slots also acts as the slot for expandable memory. This system will force users to choose either to put the sim in the slot or the memory card, but not both at the same time, which could be of rather inconvenience for users.

The Zenfone Selfie is available to Indian consumers at a price of Rs 17999.
