There isn’t any news about changes on the camera. The Apple iPad Mini 4 featured an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a 1.2-megapixels selfie camera. The iPad mini 5 will seemingly stick to that same configuration.
It is being said that there isn’t going to be any headphone port on the iPad Mini 5. This is simply because the iPhone 7 is heavily rumoured, to ditch the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, which shall be replaced by a new D-jack. It is no mystery, on the other hand that if the iPhone loses the headphone connector, so does the iPad Mini 5, which comes out with it.
We can expect the iPad mini 5 to be priced in the following manner, the16GB Wi-Fi only for £319; the 16GB Wi-Fi + 4G device for only £419. While the set with 64GB and Wi-Fi might cost £399; chances are that the 64GB Wi-Fi + 4G will be available for £499, leaving the128GB Wi-Fi model along with the 128GB device with Wi-Fi + 4G to be priced at only £479 and £579 respectively.
The iPad mini 5 will be available directly from Apple, whereas consumers will also be able to purchase it from third-party vendors such as John Lewis and Currys. Stay tuned for more updates.
