Android 6.0 Marshmallow Custom Rom Released for Samsung Galaxy S6 with Model Number of G920F, Might Receive Android N Later in The Year!

Reports are coming in that suggest that T-Mobile is currently testing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. This sure is good news for users of the device as it assures them that the update will be rolled out soon enough. However, T-Mobile is yet to announce a specific release date for the update.

Tech Times reports that the above mentioned devices are already receiving the update in India. The update comes with a considerable size of 1.2Gb and it is available over the air (OTA).

Considering the size of the update, it is advisable for users to download it via Wi-Fi. It should also be noted that the process will take quite some time and thus it will be better if the device is connected to a charger so that it does not run out of juice mid-way.

Carrier Telus had previously released a list of devices that will receive the Android M update. The dates on which the updates will be rolled out for the devices were also mentioned in the list. According to the that very list, the Samsung Galaxy S6 on Telus is scheduled to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on April 13.

Stay tuned for more update on Samsung Galaxy S6.
