Amazing Spider Man 3: Garfield Ousted After Upsetting Sony Chief, Asa Butterfield To Be The New Spiderman!

Marvel is likely to introduce Spiderman in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War and this is confirmation enough that Amazing Spider Man 3 is not in the cards. Marvel will be focusing on Peter Parker as high school student and they are looking for a young actor who can fill the shoes of both the high school nerd and web-swinging superhero with equal ease.

The new plotline demands for an actor who isn’t old enough and this eliminates both Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield. There are speculations that the new actor that Marvel and Sony have zeroed on is Asa Butterfield.

Known for his role in the films The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and Hugo, the 18 year old Asa will be the new Spiderman to enter the Marvel Universe and end up in the Avengers one day. He will be the first British actor to don the suit of Spiderman.

There have been British actors like Christian Bale and Henry Cavill who have played the role of superheroes like Batman and Superman. Asa Butterfield, in spite of being young has a lot of expectations riding on him; given in his stellar performances in the earlier films he has starred in.

Fans of Spiderman are waiting patiently for Marvel to reveal the new Spiderman.

  1. Andrew Garfield is more British than he is American, from the fact that his mother is British, he was raised there from age 3, and he speaks with a British accent.
