Daisy Ridley, who plays the role of Rey in Star Wars, is also excited to share screen space with such a great actor. While she had just one scene with Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars 7, the upcoming film will see Rey sharing a lot of space with Luke Skywalker as he is likely to train her.
Christian Post has reported that since she set her hands on Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber, she had been receiving visions from her past life, one of which seemed like a message from Obi-Wan Kenobi, played by Ewan McGregor. This confirms that Rey will have powers similar to that of a Jedi and will be taken by Luke Skywalker under his tutelage.
The viewers have already had a glimpse of the epic fight between Rey and Kylo Ren in the last part of Star Wars 7 and they know what the girl is capable of. If she is trained by Luke Skywalker she will become one of the most popular threat for the First Order and the Resistance will see hope of a success.
International Business Times has reported that the Jedi master will train Rey to become a warrior with the Force for the major intergalactic war that is looming over them. However, it is going to be challenge for her, to fight against a villain who doesn’t think twice before killing his father to prove his undying loyalty to Supreme Leader Snoke.
