U.S. Cellular has also come forward with an announcement which states that the retailer will start taking pre-orders for the device from March 28. The device will be launched on April 1. LG had previously announced that the device will be released on March 31 in South Korea and on April 1 in the United States.
As for the phone itself, it sports a 5.3-inch screen which has a quad HD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The pixel density of the screen is 554ppi. Under its hood, the device will pack the latest Snapdragon 820 processor from the house of Qualcomm.
The powerful processor will be accompanied with an impressive 4GB of RAM which will ensure that the device runs smoothly. It will be loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
In the camera department, the device boasts a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel one on its back along with an 8-megapixel snapper on its front. The rear camera will be loaded with the optical image stabilization feature along with laser autofocus and LED flash.
The device has an inbuilt memory of 32GB and its storage capacity can be expanded upto 200GB using external microSD cards.
It runs on a powerful 2,800mAH battery that comes with the support for Quick Charge 3.0 which will enable users to charge it up in a jiffy.
