2017 Jeep Wrangler Won’t Be Getting a Full Aluminum Body, Reports of Production Delays Surface, And More

Any new development requires a certain amount of investment, but the 2017 Jeep Wrangler case is a different one. Firstly, the status of the car suggests that every possible detail needs to be totally perfect, especially while considering the design.

On one hand, the Wrangler needs to look manly and boxy but we have to keep in mind that Fiat has one of the lowest average fuel economy ratings in the industry. Other than that, there are certain engineering challenges.

Earlier, it was declared that the Wrangler would have an all-aluminum body while riding on an independent suspension but the recent declaration by CEO Sergio Marchionne, contradicts with big names in the truck and SUV industry like the Range Rover and the Ford-150.
