However, when the Mac Mini was updated back in October 2014, it lost its quad-core options and the same could be written in the fate of MacBook Pro. However, there is one MacBook Pro rumor doing the rounds and it goes as far as to say that the 2016 model will have a touchscreen.
Similar to the Surface Book, it might even be detachable from the screen. This rumor might come true but its best to keep your fingers crossed at the moment. Overall, we are not expecting a design change in the new MacBook Pro.
It is, however, possible that a gold model could be launched but at the same time, Apple might decide to reserve it for the 12inch MacBook.
People who wish to upgrade their Mac Pro soon; there is a code in El Capitan which is hinting at a new Mac Pro with 10 USB 3 ports which could arrive soon. Meanwhile, the new Intel Xeon Skylake chips have arrived.
Stay tuned for more updates on 2016 Apple MacBook Pro!
