Yoshimitsu Features a Menacing and Equally Radical Look in Tekken 7, More Information

In the famous fighting-video franchise, Tekken, Yoshimitsu has always remained a classic character.  Each and every time he reveals himself, he features a new design along with a new look. Renowned game developer, Bandai Namco released Yoshimitsu again for Tekken 7.

An introductory trailer for the character was released where Yoshimitsu looked like an octopus-alien hybrid. In brief, let’s just say he looks creepier than ever! This instantly recognizable swordsman has also made his appearance in Soulcalibur and has been loved by many fans of this franchise. The fans will be definitely shocked and delighted to notice the latest redesigned look of Yoshimitsu which was probably inspired from an octopus but it features a menacing demeanor, nonetheless.

Fans adore Yoshimitsu because of his bold looks and partly because of his insane fighting moves involving a sword. He is undoubtedly the favorite character for a lot of fans. However, Yoshimitsu’s change in look, features and design was expected. Bandai Namco has earlier tinkered with it in previous titles but this is the most radical look so far.

According to GameSpot, in the character trailer, Yoshimitsu has retained his fighting style because he has the same core movement set with the signature move of pogo-stick like hopping on his sword tip. Tekken 7 will be officially released in the San Diego Comic Con event in California. Bandai Namco announced it as early as last year but the latest rumors indicate a Comic Con revelation.

In the meantime, the developer is yet to confirm any such rumors. Further information regarding this upcoming title indicates that it will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 during the Evolution Championship series EVO 2015 scheduled at Bally’s / Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on July 17 to 19.

Tekken 7 is a highly anticipated upcoming installment and rumors indicate that it has been included in the EVO 2015 line-up along with titles like “Ultra Street Fighter IV,” “Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3,” “Super Smash Bros” for Wii U, “Guilty Gear Xrd – SIGN -,” “Killer Instinct,” “Mortal Kombat X,” “Persona 4,” “Arena Ultimax,” and “Super Smash Bros Melee.” However, these dates are merely a speculation as Bandai Namco hasn’t confirmed anything so far.
