The Captain Fights Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man Puts On a Great Show, Film Does Great Business in Different Countries, And More

Captain America: Civil War has received a lot of attention from the fans even before it had hit the screen and now it has done phenomenal business in the first two days that it has been released. The film has been directed by Joseph V and Anthony Russo. The duo had been responsible for bringing the previous Captain America film, The Winter Soldier, to life.

This will be the third standalone Captain America film. Captain America, as all Marvel fans would know had been created during the Second World War and had then been frozen only to be woken up after seven years to fight in the new generation. Even though this is a standalone Captain America film with Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, the film has an ensemble cast.

The Telegraph has reported that the story of Captain America: Civil War, follows the Marvel storyline where the superheroes are faced by the superhero legislation that the world’s governments are forced to impose in their respective countries. The world has seen a lot of death and destruction and is scared that the so-called superheroes that they have will go rogue and turn against them.

Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) can see the logic in it and believe that by bringing the superheroes under the legislative control of the government, they can help make the world a safer place.

However, Captain America doesn’t get the logic behind it and believes that with the legislation the superheroes are at greater risk of being used to serve the purpose of the government, which might not always be good.

Captain America: Civil War will see Captain America being supported by Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). On the other side, the Iron Man team will comprise of Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Vision (Paul Bettany).

The film will bring in Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). Captain America: Civil War is going to be the launching pad for the superheroes.

Spider-Man will be made a part of Avengers and Captain America: Civil War is serving as the film that will introduce the viewers to the new Spider-Man. Fans will have to find out which side these two superheroes are going to join, by watching the film.

Fans who have watched Avengers: Age of Ultron will remember that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) leaves for Asgard at the end of the film and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) after realizing that he is a threat to those around him, goes off the radar. It is because of this reason that these characters are left out of Captain America: Civil War.

The story of the film is driven by The Winter Soldier, aka James Buchanan Barnes, who was an old friend of Steve Roger. The Winter Soldier has been created by HYDRA during an experiment and Steve Roger believed that he could save James Buchanan Barnes or Bucky and this makes him go against the governments.

The original Marvel comic shows SHEILD asking Captain America to become the face of the act and take down any dissenters. Captain America refuses to do so since he doesn’t want to finish off The Winter Soldier as he hopes of saving his friend behind the exterior of the HYDRA villain. This causes him to become the enemy of the state.

According to The Guardian, Spider-Man was a brilliant show in Captain America: Civil War. He is going to be the new Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has done a brilliant job in matching up to his superiors in the team.
