Super Smash Bros 4: Masahiro Sakurai Plans to Discuss New Content, Lucas DLC Release Date Revealed, And More Details

Super Smash Bros 4 creator Masahiro Sakurai, who made the game for both Nintendo DS and Wii U, will be discussing about new content related to this game in the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo.

It is scheduled to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center next week. On June 8th, Nintendo released an official announcement stating that Sakurai will hold a video presentation on 14th June, which is two days before the actual E3 2015. There, the Sakurai will talk about the latest update to Super Smash Bros, known as Super Smash Bros 4.

The presentation will also be broadcasted through Nintendo’s official E3 site. It will take place on the same day when Splatoon and Lucas-themed outfits, will be launched as downloadable content on Super Smash Bros 4, as noted by Polygon.

Nintendo also talked about its plans for E3 2015 and it suggests that Nintendo World Championships will return on 16th June, which is a NintendoDirect event.  Nintendo will also hold game-centered live streams, all throughout the E3 2015 week.

Meanwhile, last week Nintendo announced the introduction of a new character to Super Smash Bros 4 on the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. It will be Lucas, coming in a DLC and he will join other fighters in the video game like Sakurai, Mewtwo, Mega Man, Duck Hunt and others. Nintendo is using the DLC as a new strategy and Lucas will be featured alongside Mewtwo, which is the only other downloadable character.

When Mewtwo was launched for Super Smash Bros 4, it had a retail price of 4 dollars a pop and 5 if gamers wanted to use it on both 3DS and Wii U. The situation will most likely hold true for the Mother Character when he stars on the video game. There are many users who are waiting for Nintendo to introduce two characters in a single DLC bundle.

The website also revealed details about the ‘Legacy Fighter’ pack, which is suitable for the gamers who are playing catch up. However, gamers will be easily convinced to grab hold of Mewtwo. Similar to Mewtwo entering through a software update will be Lucas, entering Super Smash Bros 4.

The Super Smash Bros 4 title for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U continues to grow as Nintendo keeps updating the game roster. Recently, the game company announced through Twitter that a new character will be introduced on 14th June, Sunday.
