Star Wars fans have a reason to rejoice! The famous John Williams theme music will be playing in theatres again this December. Lucasfilm and Disney that had collaborated on Star Wars: The Force Awakens haven’t yet decided where the premiere for the film will take place yet, but they have narrowed down on the dates for it.

Star Wars: The Forces Awakens is going to premiere on the 14th of December, while the show begins for the rest of the world on 18th of December. There still isn’t any confirmation about whether the tickets for the premiere will be available to the general public.

The game is a first and third person shooter game that is based on the world created by George Lucas in his popular Star Wars franchise. The players can choose between the two warring parties in any of the episodes from the movie.

The first version of the game was released in 2004, but EA collaborated with Dice to make the game resemble the upcoming movie. The Star Wars Battlefront that is going to be released in November has an official tie-up with Lucasfilms and also has narrative tie-ins for the gameplay.

Players who pre-order the Star Wars Battlefront will be able to get access to a special downloadable version of the game called Battle of Jakku that will be shown for the first time in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

There is a very iconic scene in the franchise where a huge Star Destroyer is half buried in the Jakku sands. The battle of Jakku that was fought between the New Republic and the important Imperial strong holds will explain how the Destroyer landed in those sands.
