Foldable S Pen:
It was reported earlier that Samsung had patented the term S Pen with dual functionality at the US Patent and Trademark Office. The S Pen can also be folded and used as a stand for the smartphone. Even though Samsung hasn’t confirmed whether the accessory finds its way into the Note 6’s packaging, experts believe that the timing is too perfect to be a coincidence!
Samsung is believed to be working on a technology similar to Blackberry Hub,which is currently available on the Blackberry 10 OS.This feature brings together numerous functions such as contacts, calendar, memos, email, etc. in one place, enhancing their usability.
Even though Samsung hasn’t confirmed whether this will find its way into the Galaxy Note 6, do not be shocked if you find the feature hidden in your device.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 4 back in 2014, and the company faced a massive beating in the smartphone industry from Apple, which had just launched the iPhone 6 Plus. Samsung took a cue from their mistake and launched the Galaxy Note 5 a month prior to the Apple iPhone 6S Plus, and the move has paid off.
Hence, it will be hardly surprising if Samsung try and replicate their strategy this time around too, just ahead of the Apple’s iPhone 7.
