Sister Wives Season 6 brought a lot of changes in the Brown family. The season saw Kody Brown making one of his spiritual wives his legal wife and even though the Brown family didn’t want to accept it, things did take a huge turn after that in the family.
Kody Brown, the patriarch of the Brown family had been legally married to Meri Brown while he had three spiritual wives, Christine, Janelle and Robyn. With Robyn fighting a bitter legal battle with her ex-husband, Meri decided to divorce Kody to facilitate Robyn’s passage as the legal wife.
Being the legal wife of Kody entitled her to let Kody adopt her three children and Kody did that with the consent of the three kids. This made sure that Robyn sorted out the legal battle and it also brought in a massive change in the relationship between Kody and Robyn. The two are also going to have a new baby in January.
Even though this change in the family structure worked out well for both Robyn and Kody, things weren’t in the same line for the other members of the family. Janelle had always been vocal about the fact that things will change in the house if Meri divorces Kody and Robyn marries him legally.
Janelle was never supportive of this and said that the dynamic of the Brown family will shift. However, the others weren’t so sure about the dynamic changing, they felt that the marriage procedure would simply be a matter of paperwork and nothing will change between the people involved.
However, this wasn’t how it turned out to be. Once Kody and Robyn got married, Kody started spending more time with her. The two of them also had to deal with the adoption issue and this kept Kody away from his other wives and kids and they weren’t happy with it.
Christine had always been one to keep quiet, however, this time round she felt bad too and decided to speak out about this. Kody had realized that there was something bothering Christine and offered to go for counselling with her.
Kody decided to take Christine to Galveston Texas on their anniversary and he also gifted her a counsellor for the occasion.Once at the marriage
Once at the marriage counsellor’s, Christine spoke about all her grievances. Christine said that she feels jealous of the fact that Kody spends so much time with Robyn and her kids and hardly gives time to her and his other wives.
Nancy, the marriage counsellor made Kody and Christine work together on a rock structure and they had a lot of differences there, which made it clear that the two of them had communication problems.
At the final tell all episode of Sister Wives Season 6, Christine told Tamron Hall that Kody and she are still undergoing counselling.Christine admitted at the interview that it is difficult to work a marriage out within a polygamous structure. However, Christine comes from a polygamous family and she wouldn’t want to be in a monogamous familial structure.

Christine confessed that she never thought that she would end up feeling jealous of her sister wives, but she did feel weird when she found out that Kody had kissed Robyn. Christine isn’t the only one who felt jealous about Robyn becoming important in Kody’s life.
Meri said that she felt jealous as well when she saw Kody marry Robyn, but she forced herself to be a part of the ceremony for the sake of the whole family.
