Dance Moms seem to have hit a rough patch. It saw two of its most talented dancers leave the show last season. Maddie Ziegler and her sister, Mackenzie, left the Lifetime show along with their mother Melissa Gisoni. The decision was taken after the mother of two felt that the coach of ALDC, Abby Lee Miller, wasn’t competent enough to teach her daughters.
There were some fears that Dance Moms might not enjoy the status that it enjoyed with the Ziegler sisters leaving the show, since they had a huge fan following. Lifetime tried to keep the sisters on Dance Moms with special episodes and goodbye sessions, but the time has indeed come when the fans will have to accept that they will not be seeing the two girls on Dance Moms again.
With the fans just coming to terms with the fact that Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler will not be a part of Dance Moms Season 7, there is another rumor that have hit them. International Business Times has reported that JoJo Siwa might not be returning for Season 7 of Dance Moms.
The news was first made public when Jill Vertes shared a photo of the ALDC dressing room along with a very small makeup stand. She had captioned the photo with the fact that there were only four left.
Kira Girard also shared a photo with only four of the dancers on display. There were five girls left in ALDC after the departure of Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler and the fact that there were only four headshots indicate that JoJo Siwa is likely to leave as well.
The weekly pyramid of Dance Moms is an important feature of the show. It tells the viewers what to expect in the coming dance performances and who all are going to feature in it. Now with the weekly pyramid only having four headshots, the viewers are dying to find out what’s in store for the series.
This news has still not been confirmed by JoJo Siwa or her mother, Jessalynn Siwa. However, the girl had been absent from the Sheer Talent Competition and this didn’t help in stopping the rumors. The remaining dancers in Dance Mom, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Nia Frazierand Brynn Rumfallo were present at the event and they danced to a contemporary routine called the Picnic.
Those wondering what JoJo Siwa was up to when she wasn’t up on the stage, she had been a part of the 2016 Women of Excellence Luncheon organized by the Ladylike Foundation. She even uploaded a video of herself walking the runaway for the event.
The luncheon was organized as a fundraiser to collect money to sponsor the college education of inner city women. Just Jared reported that there were quite a few celebrities who graced the event. Mel B and Keke Palmer were spotted there and so was Asia Monet Ray, who had been a part of Dance Moms once upon a time.
Fans are eagerly waiting to find out whether JoJo Siwa has indeed left Dance Moms and what’s in store for the upcoming seventh season.
Dance Moms has been responsible for many talented faces in the industry and after Chloe Lukasiak and Maddie Ziegler, it looks the turn has come for Nia Frazier to enjoy the limelight.
The dancer has been announced to be a part of Trip of Love, which will be directed and choreographed by James Walski. The Broadway production is going to have its official opening on the 18th of October and the first review will be on 26th September.
